Dr. David A. Keys , the fourth author of the first edition, died in 1978. He was one of the outhors of Applied Geophisics in the Search of Minerals by Eve dan Keys, first published in 192, which made it one of the earlist texts in applied geophysics. It served several generations of geophysicist in the course of four editions.
